Waterstones in Worcester - Final Chapter

It's a sad day today. Waterstones in Worcester's High Street is closing its doors for the final time. The bookshop's mission to be the leading Bookseller on the High Street has had to be abandoned, although the 12 staff could be relocated to their other Worcester store, just yards away in The Shambles, although some redundancies are expected. Waterstone's Worcester High Street branch was just one of 11 stores closing today nationally. A sad end to an old Worcester landmark.
