Things To Do Worcestershire | What's On | Spetchley Gardens

Our Updated website

We have made some changes to our website for the 2011 season. It should now be easier to book your wedding, group tour, day out or order our Venison.

We are very proud of what we have created at Spetchley, in the grounds of this beautiful Historic house, garden and parkland and what everyone who works on the Estate has achieved. We consider that we are all members of one very happy and lucky family and want to share what we have created with you.

We hope therefore that this website will help you to understand not only what happens in the garden but also on the Estate to help it survive but also what we have to offer you to help make your visit a pleasure.

The website now offers an easy way to book a visit, your wedding or even look to rent a property or enjoy some of our wonderful Estate produce. We also hope to expand the website in the future so that it can be used as an educational site not only for children but adults as well.

If you would like to offer any comments on the website then please get in touch by emailingemailinghb(_AT_)spetchleygardens.co.uk us.

Our new addition!

We are very pleased to welcome the latest addition to Spetchley. The Ramsey stag, which can be seen in the Vegetable garden. A lifesize sculpture of a Red Deer stag.

He looks as if he has escaped from the deer park and has found his way into the vegetable garden, driven by the alluring smell of the many different varieties grown there.

Volunteers wanted - become part of the team

Gardens the size of Spetchley needs plenty of staff to look after the glorious 30 acres of magnificent planting. We have a team of four full time employees but need to bolster their ranks with anyone who wishes to volunteer.

We have been very lucky to have some wonderful volunteers over the years but if you wish to help out to increase your own plant knowledge, help tend to the vegetables or simply to help keep this hidden gem open for visitors to enjoy, then please do get in touch by emailing the head gardeneremailing the head gardenerSpetchley(_AT_)gmail.com.
